Hello!
My name is Allen Kirsch and I am having a practice to help gain newcomers to make new realm in Illinois but am having some trouble doing so since there are only 3 of us that only help each other out.
I would like to have anyone meet in Brookfield, IL this Thursday, August 29, from 4:30-7:30PM and hopefully meet some new faces looking to do the same.
I am friendly and will also like you to message me if you would like more details on the meet.

Welcome to the boards, Allen. Given the short notice of your post, I doubt you'll get many replies here. However, you may be able to work something out with Yggdrasil, which is a realm in Chicago that meets about 40 minutes from Brookfiield. You can contact them at their Facebook page. Alternatively, you can contact Tails here on the boards, though I don't know how often he checks his messages here.

As well, to help you get started, be sure to check out the resources I've linked below. They will help a lot in getting you oriented, and help you in the first steps of realm building. If you have any questions, please be sure to post again.

Hey, Allen. There are two other realms in your general area that you might want to check out.

There is Dunharrow, in Elgin, and Esgaroth, which fights near Foster Beach.

I will eventually but just want to see if there are any solo-ers that are trying to do the same as me so we can merge possibly. Thanks for the advice!

I really, really, really wished that foam fighters from all over the country just trickled in to this forum and found there was to your practice.

But that's not the way it works. You should really reach out to the realms in your area for help, it's the best case scenario.

So, that being said, I'm Big Jimmy, I'm the leader of Dunharrow, out of Elgin. I'm not on the boards very often, you should PM me on FB, Rather Large James.

To be fair, there is also a practice in Romeoville. You can PM Peanut of Loderia on these boards for more info. They usually practice Saturday evenings.
