Belegarth

Well I just stumbled across this when I was stalking people on Facebook and it seems really cool and I think its definitely something I'd like to get involved with. But I don't know anyone who is currently doing it or if there is anyone in my area doing it or anything like that... I live near Chicago.

What should my next step be?

Your next step is going to be to find a group close to you. I saw that you posted that you were in Glenview, so your nearest realm is going to be Yggdrasil. They practice in River Park (I think), and you can contact them on their Facebook page to get details. You can also contact Tails regarding that realm.

If you want to educate yourself more in the meantime, then pop over to Belegarth.com to check out the Book Of War (the rules), and head over to Geddon.org to check out the Belegarth wiki, which has a lot of very informative pages on just about every aspect of the sport.
