now, i understand that we shouldnt have pockets on ou garb, but perhaps we should think about making a smaller version to tuck into a herald's belt. they shoyld have it memorized but it would be good to have on hand in case disagreements arise.

It would turn into crap so fast if it was just a print out. I would love to have a small bound version of the BoW, but I don't think it would be thick enough.

what disagreements???
THE HERALD IS RIGHT. they are in command of the field. If you feel they made a bad call or an error, talk with them later about it.

later is relative. I think a decent later is after the battle, in which case I'd like to have a BoW onhand. I forget if I wait till later to check the rules on just how something is worded, or something.

A little laminated quick reference card wouldn't a horrible idea.

disagreements like, my 50" falchion being called red at geddon because it didn't have a 40" blade while glaves with only a 24" blade were being passed as red. with no BoW on hand it defaulted to "the herald is always right."

Being called blue at Geddon?

The weapon has to be 48" overall, who was the idiot?

I origanly made the BoW into a 2 page(both side) PDF back shortly after Arm 1, I think Winfang has kept with the policy.

Yep, print on vinyl and call it good! You can use any heavy cardstock, roll it up, and have it in your belt!

of course a constant UPDATE of newest rules, changed rules, and deleted rules will be a pain to keep updated on a weekly basis...

But that's our responsibility as heralds, is it not? We need to keep up to date on all changes, rewordings, etc.
