Slings

I've searched high and low and can't find any rules for Catapults, slings or any other rock throwing devices. The 37.2321 cent question is this. Are slings legal, and if they are are they just slings, or do they fall under bow type weapons? ( I Really think I am taking my rocks waaaay too seriously)

Siege equipment is right out, so no catapults.
Other sling-type devices for Bel-legal rocks would need to be examined on a case-by-case basis. A simple sling would be OK, as would a padded staff-sling.
There are no guidelines for this, however. You'd need to build it and bring it to practice or an event for anyone to give a good answer.
