leather binding

how do you bind two different peices of leather together? ?:( i would like to knowtell me please ?:(

or you can get realy involved and sew them together.

or you can use barges cement, but that's really better for book binding or shoes.

what about using leather cord to sew it together(after punching holes)

that's used pretty commonly for making mocs, so sure.

leather cord, that would make for some rough looking moccs. kind of a half-arsed look too.
the best to lace with unless you're making saddles or something is heavy waxed linen or sinew for lighter stuff. that's what my family has used to sew our traditional outfits with for several hundred years
