arrow hitting a bow

Looked around, but couldnt find this brought up before.

Ive heard mixed things about this and wanna know an official answer.

If a arrow hits a bow, does it go through like any other weapon, or does it break the bow. I lean twords it going through the weapon, but i have had it called broken when hit before.

3.8. Missile Weapon Conventions
3.8.1. If a bow is struck by a Class 1 or 2 Weapon, it is considered broken and cannot be used.

It doesn't break the bow, but will definitely travel through.
