On Saturday Dec 13th a bunch of the Gondor crew are coming up to Bellingham to fight with the Bellingham Boffer group. I'll be coming down from Canada as well to fight. I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in coming over and joining us.
The Bellingham Boffer group is a "Tap" style group (having many younger members) but I'll be bringing down my Dagorhir gear to have a few passes with the Gondor crew and their Belegarth gear as well.
They meet at noon on Saturday in Cornwall Park (just South of Bellis Fair Mall)

This post is really cool to see Ryker (it makes me smile).
I hadn't bothered to put the info up because only Tacompton and Talinor are nearby, and it's already a 100 mile drive for us to head up (starting from Bellevue).
As Ryker said, the group uses very light touch rules. Harder hits do happen (of course), but it's not what they aim for. Pretty much any touch counts. And not being a Belegarth group, they have quiet a variety of weapons on the field.
We will be bringing our gear, and throwing down with Ryker (who we are looking forward to meeting) in some Belegarth style fights. But we are (a majority of the time) going to be playing by Bellingham's rules.

I fight with a group in CT that sounds similar.
Just remember: Even if you can't use proper mechanics (probably can't...) and can't throw a real shot (probably can't...), at least you can work on your field tactics! All I've been doing around here is playing misdirect-and-split-the-line-then-backstab-tiem-is-nao.

*laughs* Totally Arrakis. That's why we're driving all that way. As a smaller realm, we have to do away games to get large unit practice in. And if nothing else, it really makes you keep your defense tight.
Unfortunatly Tacompton tends to practice on Tuesdays, but we're hoping to get down to visit them alot more early summer next year. (And eventually we'll get over to Talinor, but the ferry fees are harsh.)

Aleksii, I believe Gondor has five full time fighters and two part time fighters going (+ our gremlin). Plus Ryker.
Kent said they are bringing seven (give or take one), but I haven't asked them since the most recent weather reports. They have 2 cars going I think.
And I believe Bellingham said they've been getting 20-25 during the winter.
They are doing a weapon check that day, and they are going to consider visiting group's weapons "previously approved," so only 1 weapon checker has to approve it (as opposed to 2), and you can get a second opinion if it fails. We're still bringing all our gear just in case though.
