merch

Postby Dacian » Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:02 pm

Has anyone ever tried http://www.cafepress.com ?

It's kind of a different approach I'm taking for Khatovar this coming year. I know Belegarth had an account set up (not sure if they still do), but it costs you nothing to make any of this merch, and the prices are somewhat reasonable to buy a completely custom shirt or anything else.

Example of products from the k-town page

Anyone ever dealt with a similar site with better results?

Nice.

Yeah, Belegarth had one from several years ago, back when they only offered white shirts, I believe. It should still be up, but I'll see about getting a new one set up.

That is pretty nifty (I to like the marshal shirt).

There are no staffs in Belegarth. Because of how they are constructed, they are really Pugil Sticks.

In my opinion, it could really reach almost every demographic you could think of. If you have a shirt with 2 guys battling it out, or a catchy graphic that someone is unfamiliar with, it could be a great conversation starter without you really having to do anything.

It's always been tough to "represent" in the mundane areas of our lives, and, to me, this seems to be a good way to do such.

Those are some really cool shirts! That's such a good idea for local realms to build capital for the small stuff they need. Tabards, loaner weapons, event expenses, etc. That's really awesome. And you have some honestly cool shirts to boot.
