im mean come on, they are a common race such as orc, elf, human, so why so few, i understand the height requirement (im shortest person in my realm, among other things) but if your under 5'6" then you just classify as a tall dwarf. so why so few?

If RPed properly, dwarves are terse and boring, that is prolly why to start with. Plus saying you are a tall dwarf is kinda, well, cheesy I guess. I know of one supposed dwarf, he's taller than me. It don't makes no sense that's all.

Pardon me... but I'm a dwarf. Well actually half-dwarf. But I'm not fat, nor very short, I don't drink, am almost always in high spirits, and I certainly don't have a beard. That would just be plain weird.

And, I think (and hope) that most of the people I know would say that I'm pretty nice. (guys???)
So... there ya go. A nice, thin, sober, happy dwarf of medium height.

Being dwarf, goblin, uruk, bugbear, elf, gelf, etc is not about looking the part. Its being the part. I RP as a dwarf and I'm taller then some of the bugbears and uruk-hai. But then again they all talk and act like monsters off the field and it makes the sport that much more fun off the field as well as on. So RP as a dwarf or whatever and have fun because thats why we do this, and because of the funny hats.

Hey im the leader of the dwarves in the realm De-Trebo Mora there are seven of us here and we are not only good fighters but we are also the chefs of our realm and recently cooked the feast for manatherin which just happend and not all of us are small.....welll actually none of us are small but we are just as good if not better then the orcs or the elves or the what evers

If you its hard to "pretend" to see or be a dwarf how can any of the other races fly? I mean don't get me wrong I see your logic, but I don't see many Skinny frail looking Elves, unless they are 14. I don't see any 8 ft people with "sorta" greenish skin walking around acting like trolls cause they are "sorta" green and tall, nor does anyone have a tail to be a Gnoll but than again I do have a rather large tail bone? If that is the logic I am totally lost on role-play, thought it was make believe. If I wanted to be a Cat person would I be expect myself to sharpen my nails? I love dwarves lets drink!

(ok, maybe trolls aren't green but I'm going off nwn2 models ahaha!)

I've seen bug bear paint themselves and wear a single sleeve. I've seen trolls wear hats and "trench coats" to block the sun from driving them mad. I've seen orcs... wear.... armor.... I've seen goblins dye themselves green and treat people like ****.

I've never seen a dwarf do anything other than drink and MAYBE grow a beard. They should walk around on their knees.

Monsters are things that people are ABLE to believably role play. Elves are faster and more agile than a human... which means you can't portray them. Which is why most elves just end up looking like geeks in pointy ears.
