Texas Amtgard/Dagorhir/Darkon

Postby Druss RVNS » Tue Sep 29, 2009 2:12 pm

Hey guys sort of random question. I got a bro that moved out to Denton, Texas recently. He hasn't been able to find any Bel groups out that way, you guys know of any boffer fighting in or near that area? Much appreciated.

There is a rather large (30+) amtgard park in denton and many others around the metroplex. I saw a post a while back about wanting to start Belegarth here but havent seen the thread since. There is a dagorhir group in Mckinney, all 6 of them, wasnt worth the drive IMO.

I met a belegarth guy who had just moved down from ST. Louis area at amtgard last weekend, said he would be at Okfest as well. I have been talking to alot of amtgarders about starting a bel group on saturday some where in carrollton.

http://www.amtgardrecords.com/atlas/ is the best place to start looking for amtgard parks. Eagleshire plays on Sundays in Denton, Texas on the north-eastern side of McKenna Park at the corner of Panhandle and Thomas around 3

I will let peeps know when we get the bel park started, unless some one else gets a large group going first.

Texas is pretty much the core of Amtgard. The fighting you will experience at their parks is some of the best in all of bofferin', and is the closest you'll get to Belegarth without fielding a herald.

Hey Druss Fenrir I'm a noob for this stuff but I want you to know I live in Gainesville, Texas and is 30 minutes away from Denton and it sounds like he has experince in these battles and stuff like this so I just want to say I would like his help and me and him can start one combining two cities! Gainesville and Denton besides that was my origanal plan anyway! I already come up with a name and a design for the group so I'll be willing to talk to him also I just made a email for the group because I really like the name and its a very favorite creature of mine that people used in medieval time! So post a reply and I'll pm you the email I made so that he can email me and I would like to meet him in person if he isn't busy but he will have to come up here since I don't know how to drive and I don't have a license or permit plus I recently lost a job I had for 3 days! So post and I'll pm you the email and I'll let you contact him into emailing me then maybe me and him can meet! Also how old is he I'm currently 20 this year I turned August 10th so I'll wait for your reply thanks!

It's been over a year. Maybe you should just send the person in question a message. Be sure to check the date before you post next time.
Hawaii: Manoa
Washington: Gondor

There are no staffs in Belegarth. Because of how they are constructed, they are really Pugil Sticks.
