The dates are set and Ebonhold is pleased to announce Thaw Brawl 2011 (XIV) will be the 15-17 of April 2011. It will be the same site as the last few years. Cost will include feast and any other activities. There will most likely be some pro-rating if you're only going to be up one day. Stay tuned for updates, to see if anything changes. All changes will be added to the first post as well as mentioned somewhere in the thread. Hope to see you all in April; this one is going to be a blast.
Important Note: There is not running water on site. Please bring a container that can be filled so you have water. I will make sure they are filled for you. Also please be prepared for a small chance of rain as well as some pretty chilly temperatures at night. Hiese Hot springs is just down the road with some really nice hot water if you bring a swim suit.

Sunday Through Monday...Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers and snow showers. Breezy. Highs 44 to 54. Lows 28 to 36.
Slight chance in Idaho means probably won't happen. Chance means there is actually a chance, with most of the showers being scattered so they will be hit and miss. I will update weather until I head up to the site Friday morning.
Event Schedule:Fighting wise be prepared for some senario battles that will leave you gasping for breath at the end. There is even one that will require the use of the entire area!!! Bring your game faces this one is killer.
People who are planning on bringing and using red weapons and polearms will need to supply a willing volunteer back. 1 volunteer per weapon. There will be no exceptions to this.
Period drinking vessels will be required through out the span of the event. Water bottle at the field edge will be the only exception to this.
This year we are going to try to do a small poker tourney that will be open to any one who wants to play. It is a $5 buy in with the winner receiving half of the pot amount; the other half goes to help the realm grow.
Also some nasty pirates (not the goods ones from close by) stole and hide some valuable treasure from Kage. The pirates have hidden the diamonds around the area and Kage would very much like to have them back. Rewards will be given for the gems return. It is his hopes that with a good number of respectable pirates around he will get them all back.
