Looks nice, despite the wrinkles.

Press it, making sure to press all of your seams.

Looks very nice for a first tunic; very well done.

Want some tips for your next one? Also, hast thou pants?

Yeah I made pants not too long ago. Up until recently I've just been fighting in minimal garb/buying garb from people but I decided it was time I learned the ropes of garb making.

Sure I'd love some tips on making more/better stuff.

1. Make sure you either same-color or counter-charge both armpit gores, obviously.

2. Face the neckhole: http://www.dagorhir.com/gear/content/ga ... facing.pdf or http://www.dagorhir.com/gear/content/ga ... facing.pdf depending on your taste. Cleans things up very nicely.

3. Longer sleeves that taper. Much more historical silhouette if that's what you're going for, protects your arms from sunburn and bugs if you aren't.

4. Double-turn simple hems on the sleeves, for a more sleek opening. OR a contrasting facing, for super sexiness. You can use facings "inside out" for contrast, as in this picture: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d124/ ... 047_fb.jpg .

Anyway, nice tunic. Good on you for learning to make your own garb.

I hate facing anything, because I find it a pain in the *...so I never showed him how too, we just trimmed the edge with bias tape, and I am pretty sure we double turned the sleeve hems before we put the bias tape on...but I like the advice...is always good...

Learn to face, as much as you may hate it. It's a good skill to have and can be used to spice up a lot of garb and help preserve it..

Its not that I don't know how, I just hate doing it because I have to face everything I make for work and its a pain...I am pretty sure his tunic will be fine, none of my garb for belegarth is faced and its held up pretty well this far.
