Hello everyone!

I'm now a member of this forum because I'm already practicing medieval combat in my country (Russia), and I may move for professional reasons to the US next year, so I figured I should get acquainted with the local scene as to be able to integrate myself and find a good community!

Apart from that, I'm doing other combat inspired games and sports (airsoft and sambo) and am looking forward to discovering how medieval combat is played abroad!

Hey Yak, welcome to the boards. In the US you'll primarily find Belegarth (that's us), Dagorhir, Amtgard, and the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) for combat. There are a multitude of smaller groups, but they're too numerous to list individually. You can find maps on each group's website showing where it has realms, and info on how to get involved.
