Sieg's Leather Stuff (possibly NSFW)

Hail all!
After a good break from any real progress in leatherworking, thanks to moving across the state, getting Salamandastron back on its feet, etc. I'm finally getting back to the old knife and burner. I must have ten pounds of armor and flexible leather in bags, and a million billion rivets (nails and washers), so to ease back into the fold, I decided to make a frog for my favorite green/blue Blisdon.
Potentially NSFW if work sucks, and I'm better at this than I think I am...
The main body, after burning, dying, and finishing. Made with scrap and nails, I'm using a really simple design, but hoping to add a sort of flare to it.
The holding body, after cutting, but before anything else. Next to it, is the sword this is for.
The holding body, after burning, before molding, next to the paper pattern. Here you can see the slightly NSFW theme- going for a female manticore (with a wry impish grin) theme, because manticores have been on my mind ever since hearing Myssori's "Orphan Song." I drew a small arrow on the top to remind myself of the orientation, as this will be worn on my left hip.
My next challenge will be to paint a convincing color gradient using only black, red, white, and gold leaf, but if I **** it up, its only scrap, and I can burn this one and make another.
