I was wondering who all from here was going to Rag?

I might be attending and I've got most of my stuff together, but I don't really have a place to camp and I don't want to set up camp somewhere completely random. Anyone willing to give a guy a spot?

If you cant find one, there should be a little extra room in the LBTL camp.

I and lots of Militia will be there on Sunday. If you still can't find a place, come see us on our hill. You're welcome with us. Same goes with everyone else. Stay with the Militia and fight with us because we own.

PS: Everyone come to our party Tuesday.

Militia camp is a lot of fun, but the walk up that hill after you've had a few is definitely not.

BTW FFU flags available for distribution by me, from the Fianna camp.

That means only the people who truly want to be there...are there.

Good stuff folks! Missed those that couldn't make it, but it was good seeing those that could....still sore, still horse (from yelling push on bridge battle), but ready for more!!

I was only there on Saturday, but I had a enjoyable time. It's all about who you hang out with.

Definitely was a lot of fun. I loved seeing all of the Belegrim who came and had a blast. The site may change for next year, but the dates are already set: June 22-29, 2008.

Now come out to Chaos Wars XI this summer and see yet another side of foam fighting!

Even though i was sick for most of the week i had an overall great time this year. Only got to talk to a few of the belegarth guys that made it out and then got whaled on by super friends in the unit battles. Kyrax was fun to actualy talk to you at orons instead of just seeing your polearm coming my way.

Impaling Romans with my spear was great fun and I can’t wait to do it again next year.

Had an absolute blast. Death to Rome, and all that... I hope that DVD they're making isn't just yet another thing that goes through only our own community.

Elrath is still unbearably fast, and apparently Vokor doesn't even have to put effort into pushing me backwards 7 feet. Noted. It was great meeting some of the legends, even if they don't care to know who I am lol

My best to Narnia, who had a rather large structure roll through their camp, destroying something on the order of 8 tents and hitting their awesome cook (Gaia, was it?) in the head. =(

You finally feeling better Varadin?

And great to meet and fight with so many!!

Kyrax, when will they know on the site locale? Thorrinn and I *should* be getting married at Rag next year, and the sooner we can make arrangements based on locale, the better.

I think that the plan was for the folks assigned to search for sites to do so in the next 90 days and then a decision will be made. So you'll hopefully know before the end of the year.

Wonderful times.. I attempted to remove my self from politics this event and the conversation with Dominus was mostly about why I was banned from the Dagorhir board, however it seems as though I failed to completely refrain from old wounds in the presence of Dominus and I am glad that some at the very least enjoyed the exchange. Rag was very enjoyable and I hope see everyone again next year.

And the Marshalls said I could not wear my back flag...

I guess I should be happy, at least my back flag doesn't look half as bad as that helmet, I just don't know what he was going for there.

Anyways I guess their is some video of me in the second ranks on the front and telling talik "Pull" Talic Pulls, opening a strait line to some poor kids on the other team.. 7 steps a hard charge & I bust through into the main force busting a 2 person wide whole... Talic doesn't even wait for me and pops right in over top of me as I am falling down dead from the 10 shots I received on contact... him killing 2 more fighters and the enter flank falls fractions of a few seconds later... 2 points for Ork Bowling and crushing a flank as the superfriends is worth it. I can't wait to see the video.

Graymael? No, that is Wisdom the demon (Graymael's alter ego) hugging Graymael's wife Briar Rose (her wings are purple).

just to add to the zombie thread... has anyone mentioned the possible use of the bonaroo location? (Manchester, TN) I know it is set up for the number of people at rag, has shuttle access to the major airports, next to a major freeway, has a large enough town nearby to support the event.

In other news, Thorrinn and I are getting married on Sloth day, so come and point and laugh. And drink.....ALOT.

Ragnarok XXIII is June 22-29-2008

http://www.dagorhir.com/ragnarok/index.html

Last year at Spring Valley

I've heard they are expecting upwards of 1,400 people. Last year was over 1,200. Ragnarok has been growing by about 200 people a year.
