Are you a top fighter, nigh unbeatable? Do you have the patience and desire to pass your knowledge unto others?
If yes, how would a winter vacation in the Caribbean suit you?

What we need:

-Someone with expertise in Sword and Board, Single Sword or Florentine styles.
-Good disposition.
-No Spanish language command is necessary, but it wouldn't hurt if you understand a bit.

What we ask of you:

-To spend 4-6 hours a day, for two days, teaching people on how to improve their combat techniques.

What we offer:

-We will pay for your airplane ticket and food expenses during your stay. After the two days of training are over, you can stay on vacation at our house for up to two weeks.

What will you need:

-Your full kit, but avoid full armor. The humidity is high and is not very kind to leather. Nice garb is highly recommended. We want those fighters that have never been outside the island to see what a pro fighter looks like.
-If you have a favorite sword and shield, do try to bring them over. If your gear is too big to travel, let us know what you need and we'll try to accommodate you.
-Bathing suit. Even if you don't like the sea, you'll probably want to dive in the pool to cool off every few hours.
-We live in the rainforest. If you wish to visit it, bring comfortable hiking shoes.
-Shorts and t-shirts. You probably won't want anything warmer than that.

You can bring more people with you at their own expense.
We won't cover souvenirs or joyride/attractions expenses.

This sounds pretty awesome. If I were a belegarth superhuman I'd totally go. But alas, I'm middling at best

I hope a couple masters offer their services for you to choose from. Since you're in Puerto Rico, a passport isn't needed, which makes it easier.

Way to really buckle down and grow the sport in your area.

The PR fighters are awesome dudes and fighting on the island is great.

We got many replies, several more than we were expecting and now we are trying to figure out a fair way to determine who to bring.

This one will hopefully become the first of more "exchange" events to come!

Well that sounds amazing. If no one else grabs this up I would love to do it. Obviously anyone with extensive teaching experience would be the ideal choice but if you can't get anyone like that I would be more than happy to go.

Horse got about 20 offers or so in less than two days. He's trying to figure out how to select one, since he genuinely didn't believe that he'd get multiple offers.

Dude thought nobody would want to go, all expenses paid, to fight in paradise with his group. Jesus.

Slagar is right, we are having some problems trying to solve the issue on how to select a teacher amongst all those that applied. We figured it was best to let the potential students choose who they wanted to learn from, but it's been a slow process collecting their votes.

Hopefully very soon we'll have a definitive answer.

When you do decide Id like to see who you pick, its gotta be a hard pic your first time doing this. Hopefully you will learn a lot and continue doing it because it sounds pretty awesome.
