I mentioned this to a few people who I knew that did Fire entertainment, but I wanted to let everyone know who was interested and feels comfortable enough to preform an unofficial fire show this year at Chaos Wars 15. This will be a "bring your own fire" event.

You don't need to be the best fire Hooper, breather, poi master, staff master or whatever other fire contraptions you have. This is all for fun and for celebrating 15 years of Chaos Wars. The only things you will need.

1. Your own fire equipment
2. Your own fuel for burning
3. Designated people assigned to you personally for fire safety (one is fine, but two is better).
4. Being comfortable enough to do it!

Just remember Safety! Accountability! and having Fun!

I plan on wanting to do this to help make sin night more exciting (so when it gets dark would be the best time of course). When this would be just would depend on what events are being held and when we would feel would best fit into the style of whats going on.

We would hold practices Monday and Tuesday of the event week to make sure things will go smoothly on the big night.

Make a post here if you are interested in wanting to participate or if you would like to help supervise as a safety personal. Or if you have any questions.

I would be willing to be a Fire Safety guy. I did professional fireworks shows for a couple years so I have some experience with fire safety/control. As long as I don't have other responsibilities to attend to, I'd be more than happy to help out.

If "safety" refers to tackling you as fast as I can with a wet blanket, then I am totally down to be a safety guy.

I am getting a fire hoop this month!! I am so in! I will be praciticing, not sure how much time I will have on fire, but I am going to a couple hooping enclaves around SLC and Ogden. We have wicked awesome firespinners round these parts. I am hoping I can pick it up fast.
That will be SOOOOOOO awesome!

Sorcia, you should check out some videos on Contact Staff, they do some pretty cool stuff you could incorporate into your spinning. Just a thought.

oooooo I sooooo wanna join in on this!!! I will post more later, but lemme practice first and I may sign up for entertainment. And I will be glad to bring extinguishers if'n we want...I have like 6 of em...big ones.

bump. for those of you who are still interested in wanting to light things on fire. The plan is so far is to try and do this during the glad games when they need time to set up before, or between fights. One of us can come on and entertain the crowd with fire before they get blood.
