I'm a tobacco snob. I don't like to smoke anything under a ninety rated cigar, don't like to smoke poor shiisha, and I love me some local pipe tobacco. I'm quite certain there are others like me who prefer to smoke classy and have a good time; I want to have a little smoke session with all you this year. I'll bring a bag of local tobacco, my four pipe hookah, and probably a couple hundred grams of my favorite shiisha regardless of the TAS happening, but if there's enough interest I'll be happy to bring more for sampling and general enjoyment.

Would anyone else want to contribute to a night of fun and fine tobacco sampling? Anyone that would bring their hookah, favorite cigars, pipes, and pipe tobacco would be an official Awesome Person for the rest of their life.

EDIT:

Whelp, it seems like hookah/shiisha is the resounding majority of tobacco that my fellow Belegrim smoke, and a hookah jam would be just as sweet as a tobacco session. I don't have a tent/pavillion available to me, so calling it a 'hookah bar' would be a little goofy, but I'll bring a metric **** ton of shiisha, along with my four hose hookah, if you guys all bring yours. We'll get together on one night, late in the week when everyone wants to relax (maybe Friday, if not too much else is going on?), and bust out all of our smoking apparatus. I'll see if we can squeeze it into official scheduling, and if we get a good enough showing, maybe this could even be a yearly thing. Let me know what you guys think.

I didn't know there was a tobacconist in Hailey, that's awesome! Well, besides Soo and Froste, is anyone interested in making an event out of it? If not, I'll just keep it much more on the down low, but everyone is still certainly welcome to come and join in the puffing.

Arktos and I like hooka! we could bring our single pipe hooka... I know Mimi Karen and Rath (Centiurion) had one at last chaos... they even talked about having a hooka bar. Maybe we could get on the schedual??? like have the hooka going over by the fighting field or a tent?

Phoo, that's a rough one Salamander. Fantasia is definitely my favorite company, and I think my current favorite is Foreplay. Mai Tai and Dragonbreath are both up there as well. Howabout yourself?

And Oraeus, that's what I'm hoping- I want to gauge interest first though, before just making some goofy little one night thing that no one comes to. I'll smoke ya'll up all week, though.

Oh my, Fantasisa is most defs a good brand. Very moist, and it delivers a powerful flavor! I only smoke it at events though, because in town, it's 8 bucks a pop for a 50 gram. Otherwise, I prefer Starbuzz and Layalina. Though, that may have something to do with the fact that is the brands my hookah bar carried, and it is what I am used to. I find most of the other brands to be somewhat lacking in flavor. Lol, my current favorite mix is to bland cinnamon, honey, and clove, from the Hookah Hookah brand, and put cider in the base. SO YUMMY.
Dammit, I might come to Chaos Wars just for this. The rest will just be a bonus.

I mix my own clove tobacco. Very high clove:tobacco ratio, and infused with liquor (sometimes Kraken rum, sometimes Black Label). I'll bring a batch!

Sounds like it's going to be sweet! I think I have a mini table top hooka in a box somewhere that I never got around to unpacking after the last move. I'll try to locate it and bring it with!

I don't see any reason we couldn't include cigars and pipes (and whiskey for those 21+) in the festivities as well, even tho the clear focus is on them hoookas :devil:

the proper term is a churchwarden. the specific type I assume you're talking about is made by MacQueens pipes co. they makert their **** like it's straight out of the Shire.... in reality their stems crack, their bowls are tiny, and they clog easy. better just to go get a regular churchwarden from your local tobacco store, it'll be much cheaper too.

There's absolutely no reason it can't happen, I'm just shifting the focus from tobacco in general to shiisha.

We are in (4 of us) and we can bring three or four hookahs....however the bowels of the Bible belt we recently found ourselves in seems to be lacking in good tobacco...so if we are able to score some on the way up we will if not we will have road side hookah stand variety to share...

what night is this going to happen? and where?

Finished a batch of clove cigs and some Scotch-whisky cigs. I'm looking forward to the shiisha party, as I haven't actually tried hookah before.

Hey, thank you guys so much for coming out. You guys made it a fantastic experience, even people who just took a few puffs and took off. I can't thank you guys enough for coming and making me want to do it again next year.

Next year, though, I'm thinking of doing it something goofy like Tues/Thurs or Thurs/Sat, so that we can maximize our shiisha intake without puking. Anyone else up for a double hookah date?
