Got this a while back and added some embellishments. Cross cut-out on the face plate, leather tie at top for helmet favor or drape, leather chin strap with stainless buckles. Painted it over and over (and over) in varying levels of thick paint to give it an "iron" look rather than just plain old black leather. Did the same for the nasal cross and eye slits in red. Never been used in a single fight. Shows some signs of wear, but otherwise in awesome shape.
$75 maybe if anyone is interested and I'll ship in the US for free. Hoping it goes to a good home, it was a fun project and looks awesome. Most mistake it for full metal. Just don't need it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/57969202@N04/
I specifically did not pad it to keep the size options open. I have a 23" head and fits with room to spare. Probably anywhere from 22.5-25ish without the padding. I added a sewn flax and wool pad that was removable that sat on the top and a rolled piece around the brow. Looked pretty authentic inside an out.
