Need Rules PDF assistance

Anyone interested in helping out with the two rules PDFs we have?

Both of these:

http://belegarth.com/documents/bookofwar.pdf
http://belegarth.com/documents/bow_resized.pdf

are in dire need of updates. I need someone who is experienced with word processing & has the ability to make PDFs (real tough, I know) and is willing to sit through the tedium of ensuring that all of the line breaks, indents, etc. are nice & organized to take the copy of the rules found here and make two new copies of these PDFs.

We need one that just has the rules (like the first) and one that can be printed front & back into a bifold deal for heralds to carry around.

I have graphics that you can use on the headers if you wish as well.

If you're interested, let me know.

I'll be happy to do it. Things are unstable right now, but I should be able to do it within the next weekish.

No worries, it's not a huge rush.

If you need anything else from me, let me know.

It would probably be worth the time to type the whole shebang over into TeX/LaTeX, so you can make updates in the source code and recompile to PDFs or PSs or GSs or whatever, whenever.

Probably. I don't have any experience with LaTeX though, so there's that hurdle as well.

Maybe if I get ambitious I'll ghetto up some database to store BoW and a script to regenerate PDFs whenever rules are updated.

In the meantime, though, hand made PDFs will have to do; they're both ridiculously outdated.

Is there an RTF or fixed-width copy anywhere? That'd be downright simple to reformat and PDF-ize.

No, just the PDFs and the XHTML.

That sucks.

****, there's not a lot to any of this, I just don't have the * required after being in a research lab 9 hrs a day. All I have the energy for anymore (as far as online/computer stuff goes) is forum douchery.

Good luck on this project; Maybe I'll hack out something more permanent over winter break.

Exactly why I'm asking for a volunteer to do it. I don't have the free time to sit and press tab for 2 hours.

If Isk can't tackle it by next week, I can. Just need to survive tech week this week.

Here they are. I tried to keep the formatting mostly the same as the rules page. Going the LaTex route sounds great, but I also lack the time. Somebody please look over, I am tired enough my editing skills are impaired.
